Stroke

Nearly all of us know someone—a friend, neighbor, or family member—who has been affected by stroke. At Circle of Rights, we are committed to educating our communities about what stroke is, how to recognize the warning signs, and what can be done to prevent it.

A stroke, also known as cerebrovascular disease, can occur for several reasons and falls into two main categories: ischemic (caused by blocked blood flow) and hemorrhagic (caused by bleeding in the brain). Its effects can be life-altering, leading to vision problems, memory loss, mental confusion, paralysis, and significant changes in behavior.

But stroke is preventable.

We focus on empowering individuals with practical strategies to lower their risk—through healthy lifestyle choices, chronic disease management, and awareness of early symptoms.

Our presentations are informative, engaging, and interactive. We spark meaningful conversations that not only educate but also inspire action. By raising awareness and sharing knowledge, we can make a difference—together, we can work to end stroke.
